shuttered windows ....

 


 
Paris is full of pretty shuttered windows
sometimes freshly painted and draped with climbing roses or wisteria 
 other-times scruffy rusted and battered by the elements
but I love them all

 
 
along the back-roads of Montmartre

That first shot is a charming capture Dianne - I like the way the delicate (but obviously strong) creeper has made its way through the crusty, weathered timber shutters. Wishing you a greatly blessed Christmas with your loved ones.

Happy holidays Dianne, and best wishes for good health and happiness for 2016. Love your shutter photos. Staying in Paris the first time - every morning opening the windows, flakes of paint from the old shutters would fall off into the street below.
