we must carry it with us or we find it not

along the boulevards ......

~   Avenue Kleber   Paris  ~

pretty wrought-iron balconies with white shuttered windows
add charm to the many buildings that line long sweeping boulevards
in central Paris

whether from the inside looking out or looking up while sipping
café crème at an eatery below  - it's always a view to delight
and I can't help wondering what it would be like to live
right there in the middle of this beautiful city of light and love

I so like the window shutters that are characteristic of France and other parts of Europe - wonder if they would work as effectively to keep the oppressive heat out here in Australia?!
