Though we travel the world to find the beautiful

we must carry it with us or we find it not

To Market To Market .........

Oh! how I love Market Day's in rural France
where the locals come to forage out the very best
in local produce before settling into one of those
typical French rattan chairs for a coffee and a chat

Sous le Ciel de Paris ........

Straight ahead is Pont Neuf
 the oldest bridge in Paris.

When I'm in Paris I like to travel the river
on the  hop on hop off Batobus boat shuttle
much smaller and nicer than the big touristy Bateaux-Mouches

Everything looks lovelier under blue skies

Two Elegant Ladies ........

Late afternoon looking across La Seine to the Ile Île-des-Cygnes
where Paris's version of the Statue of Liberty
stands tall and proud ... in the background you cannot miss
the beautiful lace profile of La Tour Eiffel

Une Fleur en Liberté ...........

This beautiful little fleurist on Rue Saint-Sauveur is just adorable
I loved to walk by just to see what pretty arrangement
Madame had created for passers by to enjoy.

"The roses throb as in a bygone day as they were wont
The tall proud lilies sway
Each bird that lights and twitters is a friend"

A French Country Garden .......

~ Misty morning in a French country garden ~

I can understand why the impressionist painters
loved to paint out-doors ... they literally captured the light

This pic was taken early one morning in the
 beautiful region of Haute-Normandie
I could imagine Monet or Renoir sitting there with their easel
dabbling with colours ... creating a masterpiece.

Le Voiturier .......

Car and driver on Rue de Rivoli Paris ...  both immaculately presented
awaiting their next client who will most probably be dining in one of the
fine dining establishments along this stretch of the street
or maybe even popping into "Angelina's for café crème and macarons.

Blue Skies Over Sacre Coeur .....

Sacre Coeur is much prettier when viewed from the little park
nestled in behind this magnificent Parisian landmark
