Le Mariage .....

This lovely couple had used the rear portico of  L'Eglise de la Madeleine-Paris
for their wedding photos - I loved the weathered doorways and surrounds
of a building originally commissioned by Napoleon way back in 1806

And pour-moi ... merci!

I love her shoes!! I love coming across weddings and snapping photos.

Since it was Valentine's Day this week I found several weddings here in Las Vegas.

These are so striking...I'm in love with the stark white against those aged and gorgeously weathered doors! For Paulita's Dreaming of France meme I've highlighted an upcoming movie filmed in Paris, based on a French book.

Love the contrast of purest white in contrast with weathered textures! Adore the perspective of the first photo!

That first photo just makes my heart sing - you got it! The details are perfect and the second photo tells the rest of the story. Love them both.

I love your first photo with the detail. But I also love those heavy French doors. So much texture and history. I can see why the couple used them for their photo backdrop. I just love old buildings in Europe!
Have a wonderful week.
