I love how The Parisians escape to their parks and gardens
on sunny week-ends - reading a favourite book or
just taking a sun-nap as in the pic above
Bordered with well manicured flower-beds and dotted with park benches
the Palais-Royal gardens are perfect for sitting and whiling away an afternoon
before meandering over to one of the coffee shops that line the palace arcade.
It really is one of my favourite places to be in all of Paris

Beautiful gardens, but not in mid-winter. In the first photo the women on the left looks like she is crying. How sad surrounded by all that beauty.

Not suprising they 'escape to parks and gardens' seeing as they live in apa-a-a-artments sans backyards. It looks to be the future here in Melbourne too.
