Exquisite South Rose Window........

This magnificent South Rose Window
in the Notre Dame Cathederal Paris
was a gift from King Saint-Louis.
It was originally installed in circa 1260
Now that's a long time ago!!!

It remains today ever so beautiful with it's
superb colourings predominately in the blue tonings

The exterior of the window with delicate fine stone tracery.

Notre Dame is said to be France's most visited monument,
with over 13 million visitors each year

Fleurs de Lotus ....

Just sharing with your these photo's of the exquisite
Sacred Lotus flowers, now in bloom in my
home town of Adelaide in South Australia.

They also grow prolifically in French Tahiti

where the seeds are powdered & used

in body scrubs / exfoliants

(the botanic name is Nelumbo Nucifera)
