"A Long Lunch In Provence".....

~ Salmon Tartare marinated in citrus petals ~

If you want to spend a long lunch ... I can't think of anywhere more perfect
 than La Belle Provence!!
I joined my sisters under the mulberry trees at this unique Provencal farmhouse
for a delectable meal that lasted over three hours

~ Cucumber tarragon and youghurt gelee ~

~ Fillet of Beef Bourguinon with porcini mushroom sauce ~

~ Our delightful hosts Anne and Remi ~

~ French Parfait with locally grown peaches ~

Bon Appetit!

You've brought back wonderful memories this morning for me of meals in Provence. Lovely post to start my day off right. I wish the leisurely lunch could be adopted in more countries. I'm sure the world would be better for it.

In my family, we have always taken photos of the food, much to the embarrassment of those with us - hah! I am right there with you, mon amie!

Miam-miam! Enjoy your weekend!

The salmon tartare looks so light and pretty! And the beef looks so rich and hearty! A lovely balance. Happy weekend, Dianne.

Wow. All delicious looking. The top most picture I pictured immediately as a face with the lips a straight line - was expecting the chef would have made it a smiling face.
