~ Some-where in Paris ~
That's what I like to be when in Paris
a stroller a saunterer a wanderer
Charles Baudelaire developed and derived the meaning of flậneur to mean
- a person who walks the city in order to experience it -
I would say to wander aimlessly enjoying the
sights, sounds and smells - the colours of everyday life
being totally unaware of time and place
just being -some-where in Paris -

It's not busy at all, our streets are always crowded in Brussels.
Like the pavement.
Hi Dianne! Sorry for the absence; another busy fortnight... No holidays... ;)
Typical morning Paris!! Lovely!!
Blogtrotter Two is touring Cap Corse... Enjoy and have a wonderful week ahead!!
Not sure what time of the day this is, but I have never seen Paris so quiet. Just the right day to stroll, saunter and meander. Diane
Brilliant shot! This street is so clean and I love your composition, everything is beautiful!
Happy Sunday

C'est tellement agréable de flâner sans but dans les rues de Paris ou d'ailleurs...
Bon dimanche !

A lovely scene, and I'd be very happy to meander. I suspect I'd become lost more than once!
Lovely shot! You captured the paving really well.
Quel plaisir Dianne!
Oh to be a flaneur and observe all there is to see - I feel we all are a flaneur when we promenade the boulevards of Paris.
Thank you mon amie!
Hi Dianne,
I would be happy to be walking down the wonderful cobbled street and maybe stopping for a coffee, when I am doing my shopping.
Happy new week
Hugs
Carolyn
C'est comme cela que j'aime errer dans Paris ou ailleurs d'ailleurs, au gré des rues sans but précis.

Ah, yes... walking south down Rue Montorgueil. I love this street and one could never resist the delicious offerings. It is a good thing that we are doing lots of walking!

I forgot to add that I love your new banner!
Indeed, I love a good stroll. It is the best way to experience a place, whether a famous city like Paris, or a mountain stream or country road. Wonderful blog you have here Dianne :^)
Marvelous capture of a lovely street, Dianne, and I wish I were there! Thanks for the beautiful walk! Hope you've had a great weekend!

Genie - Yes you're right - walking south down Rue Montorgueil with the wonderful smells of food wafting out from every nook and cranny - coffee and escargots fried in butter and crotins of raw cheese from Brittany - how could I forget!
Dear Diane, great thoughts today. Yes I too could be somewhere in Paris icily walking and allowing the moment to take me to the next destination. Today I choose Seville and will think of you as I wander x
