Café Crѐme à Paris

With all the beautiful sights to be found in Paris
the thing I love most, is sitting at an outdoor café
sipping a good coffee and taking in the sights
and sounds of this amazing city
Café crѐme would have to be my favourite drink
a cafѐ express with warm milk
if you want a small cup it is called
un petit crѐme

................................

I'm wondering where would you go for your best coffee?
and what would you order?

Please choose a little sweet some-thing on the side
 bien sur!

When in France cafe au lait with an almond croissant. When in Israel, cardamom flavoured coffee with fresh bread and cheese, when in Austria, Cafe melange with semmeln and jam, when in NZ Flat white with a bran and date muffin. Help, now I'm hungry!

When we lived in France it was always a "grand creme" and an "alumette" which is a long almond flavoured twist.

I'm not sure that you can get a good coffee in France but you can in Italy, then the bread is better in France than Italy - best coffee is Melbourne, when you know where to go. Long Mac please.

Hee, you and Genie are on the same wavelength with today's theme. Looks gorgeous. I think I'd come back from Paris with a new spare tyre in my baggage!

I'm with you Diane (with 1 N) on the short black in France. And of course there is Nespresso.

Hi Dianne,
I'm not so keen on coffee and generally prefer tea - but not in France! So I would order a chocolate chaud.....

Lovely way to start the day. I'm also a noixette girl, especially after a big meal, it's all I can squeak in!

Wow, this looks sooooooo nice. I like it even more when it is served in something pretty, like here.
