Vieux Port De Cannes.......

Looking down on the old Harbour from the narrow winding Rue Saint-Antoine
which leads up to "Le Suquet" the quaint historic heart of Cannes
where the castle and city wall date from the 12th century
.
I hopped aboard Le petit- train in glitzy downtown La-Croisette
and within a few minutes chugged along the streets to this
wonderful old village - just like stepping back in time!

Such a beautiful place to hold the film festival, Cannes would be packed with movie stars just now wouldn't it?

That view is glorious, and your lovely little train trip sounds like something out of a movie, Dianne!

Awesome images, that first composition with the street lamp and the boats on the background is fabulous!

What a stunning place! I haven't had the oppurtunity to visit the South of France so this is really interesting. It actually looks really sunny!
