Tournesols ~ Citroen Deux Chevaux & a little wooden door....

You never know what little surprises you find tucked away in the cobble-stoned
alley-ways of the Luberon.

Buckets of freshly picked tournesols waiting at the gate

A butter-yellow Citroen Deux Chevaux - renovated and
ready for a spin  ~ very classy !!

Did they paint the car to match the walls or paint the wall to match the car
I shall never know.

And polished timber doorways leading into who knows where!!
a perfect compliment to those golden cobbled stones.

Oh gorgeous photos.
Sunflowers are what I am hoping to see in June in Provence. Did I tell you I was venturing there too....more to come.

Lovely photos today Dianne. I've only had the pleasure of seeing one of those little cars once. They are definitely a head turner.

That door photo is divine! I think that Keith at Taste of Garlic will be by to see the Citroen, even if it is not bleu!

Have a wonderful week!

Hi Dianne,

Love your beautiful photos ~ the bright sunflowers make me happy.
As for the cute 2CV, I have always wanted one. You do not see many of them around in France and it is a pity they are not still making them.
When we hired a car in France I wanted one, but sadly they could not help.

Happy Tuesday
Hugs

So beautiful. I want to know where the door leads...I love mystery...! Here in the US if my kids saw that car they would have yelled “Slug-Bug”...not quite ;o)
